Dott. Francesca Basso

LABORATORIO ESPRESSIVO ITALIAN TEACHER

Dear parents,

My name is Francesca Basso and I am Italian. Two years ago we moved to Prague, where my first contact was with this fantastic kindergarten and nursery, Piccole Pesti.

I have a university degree in Art History and Psychology and my specialization is as a Psycho-art therapist (or expressive art therapy).I am also the mother of one Piccola Peste who is three years old.

Art therapy is a branch of psychodynamic therapy that deals with interacting with the patient through artistic materials and graphic techniques.

But with art therapy you can create many beautiful spaces in which the objectives can also be learning, fun, relaxation and rebalancing.

The workshop “La Penisola Blu”, in which we introduce children to the Italian language and culture through play, drawing and creative experimentation. This project is going to start for a second time and I´m so excited to continue this journey.

I´m looking forward  to meeting you and your little ones soon in the workshop and at school!

Armeen Mansoor

CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH TEACHER

Dear Parents,

Hello! My name is Armeen, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as one of the new after-school English teachers at Piccole Pesti. I’m 21 years old and currently a medical student from Pakistan, but I’ve lived in Dubai my whole life. I graduated from Dubai British School and have been enjoying the beautiful city of Prague for the past two years.

With 4 years of experience tutoring English to children of different ages, I believe in making every lesson a fun and interactive adventure! My aim is to create a classroom where your children are excited to learn and feel comfortable to express themselves.

In my free time, I love exploring new places, meeting new people, and discovering different cultures. I am beyond excited to start this new chapter at Piccole Pesti and can’t wait to meet all the wonderful students and parents. Together, we’re going to have a fantastic time learning and growing!

Looking forward to a joyful and enriching school year with all of you!

Warm wishes,

Armeen

Eliška Jana Bílková

DANCE CLASS TEACHER

Hello,

my name is Eliška Jana Bílková, and I will be leading the second year dance classes for the upcoming children’s dance course at Piccole Pesti. I am a 22-year-old graduate of the dance conservatory Dance Center Prague, and I am excited to share my passion for dance with your children.

In this course, your children will be introduced to the basics of dance in a fun and supportive environment. Through engaging activities and playful exercises, the children will learn to express themselves through movement.

My goal is to make each lesson an inspiring experience, where the children feel confident to explore dance in their own unique way. Dance is not only an excellent form of physical activity but also great way for children to build self-confidence and socialize with their peers in a positive setting as well as develop their motor skills, coordination, creativity and sense of rhythm.

I am excited to begin this journey with your children and look forward to working together to create a fun and rewarding dance experience.

Kind regards,

Eliška
